Sand Hollow

Please excuse my extremely goofy goggles, I wear contacts okay...

We went to St. George for a few days with Chase's brother Kade and his wife Elle back in June. My grandparents have a condo (whoop!). It's so blazing hot so most of the time we were either at the pool or Sand Hollow jumping off red rocks into blue water (we risked the "Swimmer's Itch"). Elle brought her GoPro (whoop!) and Chase's younger bro has Final Cut Pro (whoop!) so I attempted to edit this on there. The quality looks not so good in the final version for some reason, and the title is way messed up for some other reason. Why is it way over on the left like that anyway? I made it look way cooler than that I promise. I  didn't attempt to mess with the colors though, I'll save that for another day when I have time to learn. I'm just still loving that I can play a video backwards, COOL.

PS. It's so great having Elle around to take pics and video with me, I've missed that since my Carrie left on her mission.

Camping Vid

I threw this together tonight and have watched it a million times since, I love my family. I reeeaaaally wish my parents and little sisters couldn't been there though. I also realized that Chase (one of the few boys there) was a little out numbered while playing games...what a good sport. All my cousins but one are younger than me and most all of them are girls...so we have a lot of giggling and silly games going on when we are together. It's a blast!

Camping in Wyoming

Every summer my extended family tries to get all together at least once up at my Grandparent's property in Wyoming. Last weekend we were able to go up and enjoy cooler weather and even some rain.
My grandparents both turn 70 this year so we threw a surprise "70's" themed birthday party for them with 70's music, glow sticks, tie dyed shirts, lights hanging from trees, and big peace signs. I think they had fun! My grandparents are two of the best people I know. They are so giving and accepting. I love them so much and am so glad they are my grandparents. Happy Birthday Grandpa & Grandma!
Chase & I brought our trusty hammock and took a couple naps in it.
We rode 4-wheelers, played tons of games, and ate SO MUCH good food as always.
We look at peace...haha.
Chase & I are so blessed to have the families we have. They are our best friends!
Until next time Wyoming!

Honeymooning

I was looking through pics on my phone and found these from our honeymoon. We went to San Diego and had a blast. We loved getting away from everyone and everything and just being us. It was also such a relief to be done with wedding planning!
While we were there we went to the San Diego Zoo and walked several miles, we loved the cute little baby panda bear. Did a session at the beautiful San Diego Temple. Went kayaking at La Jolla into the caves, and watched the sea lions up close. We basically had our own personal tour guide! And he was french. Hung out at beautiful beaches and explored the tide pools. Walked through cute little shops and ate at Luche Libre. The greatest taco/burrito place. I mean just look at it. We were laughing so hard. We also ate at Phil's BBQ and The Habit Burger, if you go to San Diego you need to eat there, so yum.
Being married is so much fun. I always get to be with my best friend, how could it get better?!
